Renée Lukacs

Renée Lukacs has been producing media content since 2005 where she began in radio with the CHUM group, now Bell Media. Since 2010, she has held several creative and production roles in film and factual TV.

Some of the television work Renée is most proud to be part of is as Field Producer on Keeping Canada Alive (CBC) and Emergency (Slice) where she followed patient journeys though the Canadian healthcare system. She also produced stories for true crime documentary series The Devil You Know (OWN) and Very Bad Men (Investigation Discovery), and medical mystery documentary series, Diagnose Me (Discovery Life). On the lighter side, she has produced casting for Tricked (YTV) and First Dates Canada (Slice), as well as worked as Assistant Director on Love It Or List It Vancouver (W Network) and Unit Manager on Yukon Gold (History).
Outside of work, Renée supports patient and public involvement in health service planning and decision-making at Vancouver Coastal Health as a member of the Community Engagement Advisory Network. As well, through the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council she is part of the Patient Voices Network and sits as a Patient Partner on Providence Health’s Surgical Quality Committee.
